The Suite and Stateroom Inspections
Aqua Theater Suite with Balcony 9730
This was my favorite suite—perfect for a large family or a group of close friends.
Probably not a great choice for the unemployed.
You enter this suite through a long marble entry that passes the two bathrooms and
bedrooms to get to the luxurious living area.
Coming in, the bedroom at the right has 2 twin beds convertible to a queen, plus two Pullman beds.
On the right is the master queen (convertible to 2 twins) bedroom with television and vanity with chair area.
The living area has a double convertible sofa, large TV, bar, dining room, marble entry,
entertainment center, two bathrooms - master bath with tub. There is an expansive
balcony with table and chairs (823 sq. ft., balcony 772 sq. ft.). Suite is for a
minimum of 4, and can accommodate up to 8 guests.
If you look at the diagram at the top, you'll note that the balcony wraps all the way
around the pointed part. Standing in the doorway, looking out, the balcony to the left
(in this suite) is ocean view. It wraps to the back that is ocean view and part of
the ship. Half of this area is covered (in case of rain) and farther away from the
door is open air to get that warm sunshine or tan. Powerful mounted binoculars sit
at the back for use anytime.
Circling more to the right is a table for outdoor meals and plenty of seats for visiting.
A little more to the right is a bar at the rail that overlooks the Aqua Theater. It's a
great place to set up the computer to check your emails and chat with friends.
If you'll notice from this external view, these Aqua Suites taper as you go to higher
decks. The higher you go, the smaller your balcony is. But I wouldn't recomment
getting the largest balcony, as you might have too much noise from events at the Aqua
Theater. My preference would be the Suite on Deck 9 (where you can see people in this
photo and where these pictures were taken).
The view from the balcony encompasses the Aqua Theater and events, as well as any
movies shown on the TV screens. There's a partial view of the Boardwalk and a nice
view of both sides of Rock Climbing walls. The upper Decks also have a great view of
the zip liners.
