Saturday, February 16 was our final day At Sea. After lunch some of the group
joined to play a “left / right” game for prizes. After that there was a Rubber
Duck drawing for a prize. James won the Rubber Duck prize and posed with the
duck on his head.
Afterward, we learned that sister-in-law Debbie had WON the Slot Tournament!
Grand Prize: A FREE CRUISE ! ! ! !
This makes for a great Plan B.
Our final gathering was at a casual dinner where everyone got Valentine crossword puzzles.
There was a food tasting event happening on the Promenade where we got to sample
everything from chocolate covered strawberries, exotic cheeses, and other desserts
to various wines. Obviously, I passed on the wine to save more for the others.
At the end of the Promenade I found Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and ordered a cup!
I wasn’t expecting to receive a lovely heavy silver ELEPHANT BRACELET and a nice tip.
The final chore was to pack up everything except for the following day and put
our bags out in the hallway to be collected.
We were going to miss the towel animals, ship décor, and wait staff.
