Saturday was our final day at sea as we returned to Galveston.
After sitting by the adult pool, Dianne was nice enough to accompany me back
to Johnny Rocket's for lunch. It was just as good the second time around.
For our group dinner, itwas Western dress up night for dinner.
There is a fantastic photo op bench that is surrounded by a picture frame. After
dinner several of us went for group shots while Lynda went to smoke her cigarette.
She must have smoked 2 or 3 because she didn't make it back in time to get in the
photo. Page looks good. I think it's because her feet reach the ground. It makes
her look thinner. And, by now, you should know that I like moving people around
for multiple shots. I think they turned out well and we had fun doing it.
I think this was the first night I went to the casino. Because I'm a repeat RCCL
cruiser, I was given 3 spin-to-win chances at one of the slot machines. Nope.
Didn't win here either. I had taken a $20 bill with me to donate. I don't think
it took more than 10 minutes.
After that, Dianne helped me spend some of my onboard credits, so I found some
bracelets and T-shirts.
Then it was time to return to our rooms so we could set our luggage out in the
hall for pickup to make it faster to unload everything in the morning.
When you go on a cruise, there's an opportunity to put $100.00 down as a Next
Cruise Booking. When you are ready to book a reservation, the $100.00 goes toward
your deposit AND you get an onboard credit in an amount from $50.00 to $200.00
depending on how long your cruise is. It never expires. It's a great deal if
you are pretty sure you will go on another cruise. Five people in our group
now have un-chosen cruises. They can use them on any RCCL cruise they might
wish to go on, including my next group.
